We’ve been experiencing a lot of rain showers lately here in the metro which could very well mean that summer is almost over. But before we say goodbye to summer and hello to the rainy season, let me share with you Jay and Rina’s wedding which is so cheery and bright with the yellow, aqua blue and apple green color motif, it reminds you of fun summer days and beautiful spring soirees.
When the superb team of the BlackTieProject sent over these amazing photos, I really could not guess what this wedding’s theme was. All I know is that Rina’s gown is to die for, the flowers and styling gorgeous, and the teddy bears are sooo cute! And so when I received an email from Rina telling us their wedding story, I was beyond thrilled! She narrates about how being an internet junkie helped/caused her confusion in choosing a theme. She found lots of inspiration from different websites that in the end, she can’t decide on a theme and just decided to have a simple and elegant wedding. Funny, she reminds me so much of myself when I was still planning our wedding! I’ll leave it to Rina to tell more about their wedding story which you can find after this slew of beautiful photos. Enjoy!
From the Bride: Just like any other bride, I was really excited when my husband proposed to me as I’ve been waiting for it for almost 10 years (college sweethearts).
As soon as we came back from our vacation in Pangasinan where he proposed, I joined the W@W forum & Bridal Book to help me with my research. Being an internet junkie, plus our work is connected with computers I have all the time in the world to check multiple websites. Unfortunately, because of that, I had many inspirations and was really confused. We are choosing a movie theme, computer junkie theme and so on.
Being busy with our own careers, my husband being a Programmer and was based in Singapore and me being a Systems Administrator in a Call Center, we didn’t have the time to check on so many details for the themes so i decided to make it as simple as the “Elegant Theme” based on the design of my bridal gown created by my very talented designer Clayton Vidal of CA Design Team. For the Color Motiff we have chosen Yellow, Aqua Blue and Apple Green. I was really thankful that I have chosen most of the best suppliers in the industry, they are easy to talk to and very talented.
The most memorable part of our wedding was when the church door opened, realizing that my dream wedding is actually happening. I was too afraid to walk, my knees were really shaking but the show must go on…got the signal from my coordinator to start walking slowly, listening to my bridal march song “Two words”, seeing my parents, family, our friends looking at me with admiration and Jay waiting for me at the altar with love & admiration in his eyes, my tears are building up and I’m about to cry. I was floating during the mass celebration, everything is happening really fast. Jay had pink lips all throughout our wedding, guess why? Our wedding kiss lasted for about a minute or two, my lipstick transferred to his lips hehehe!!!
At the wedding reception, I am so happy to see that everything is under control. Enderun’s Atrium looks so elegant because of the setup that Amante Fleurs did and our cake looks so yummy We had fun having our pictures taken with our guests, delicious food & awesome entertainment by our Emcee Alexyz Arcilla. We really loved the games that he prepared for the single ladies & gentlemen. Our reception program has been executed well. And what a better way to end the program than to have a fireworks display.
