Styled weddings and parties are so in right now. Couples have become more adventurous, style is constantly evolving and there are just so many sources for ideas and inspiration available nowadays.
Today’s featured wedding was held at the Gazebo Royale. The bride wanted a rustic, garden theme with lots of loose petals and flowers. The styling was creatively executed by Moki Gray Designs (welcome area and reception styling) and 15-58 Flowers & Event Styling (floral arc and altar setup styling).
It was indeed a beautiful wedding. Apple and Archim were a picture of a happy couple in love. And while any event with a theme that is perfectly handled by a stylist will surely turn out lovely, it’s still the candid and precious moments shared by the couple and the special people who are a part of the special day that truly makes a wedding more beautiful, real and extraordinary. It may sound cliché but I’m sure you’ll also agree with me on that.
Derrick Lim of Imagine Nation Photography was able to capture the charming details and most important of all, the best moments from Archim and Apple’s awe-inspiring wedding that they will cherish in the years to come.
From the Bride:
Our wedding style leaned towards the rustic, garden theme — lots of plants, wood and twine. Loose petals are one of my favourite wedding elements and I incorporated this into some of our details including the floral arc, aisle and wedding cake. Even my dress has a peplum embellished with delicate organza petals. I got countless pegs from wedding blogs and resource sites and the ones I have deemed workable, I showed to our florist and cake designer.
I don’t have a favourite memory of my wedding because I love every second of it. And I think deep inside, I enjoyed the preparation as it took me to a journey of self-discovery, new experiences (like my boudoir photos) and establishing a deeper bond with my love.
From the Groom:
It will always be one of the most celebrated memories of my existence, although certain moments glow more vividly: when I saw my lovely bride in her wedding dress; when I lifted the veil to look deeply into the eyes of the woman I am spending the rest of my life with; when we sealed the ceremony with our first kiss as man and wife; when we shared the wedding cake and champagne; when we had our first official dance; when we posed for the camera, full of warranted smiles, touches and more kisses; and the brief pauses in between when we laughed and looked at each other, with the silent understanding that we have crossed the bridge, and what lies ahead is ours to share for as long as we both shall live.
