Today I’m finally posting about my daughter’s 2nd birthday and boy am I really excited! My darling little girl turned 2 last July 25 and although we didn’t have a party planned for her birthday, I really wanted to make something special for her birthday. So in a spur of a moment, we decided to celebrate her birthday with a Strawberry Themed Dessert Table for her and her cousins to enjoy. Plus, it was also a good excuse to put my crafty hands to use, heehee!
My inspiration for the theme came from Patty’s Strawberry Chocolat Wooden Tea Set toy which she loves to play with so much. Also, since it was only almost a week before her birthday when I decided I want to set up a dessert table and it was all going to be DIY, the decor and printables should be something that are easy to make. Strawberry flavored candies are readily available in most supermarkets and strawberry printables seem fairly easy to make, so strawberry theme it is. 🙂
The frames I used here are the same ones I used for Patty’s Minnie Mouse themed 1st Birthday. Now I really want to go back to the picture frames store in Divisoria and hoard frames for the gallery wall art I’m planning to do for our bedroom.
These cupcakes are yummo! The kids loved it.
The gorgeous and delicious cake and cupcakes are from Jo-Ann of Sweet Creations by Mums. Thank you once again for the free cupcakes! That was really so generous of you. 🙂
“Wow, nice!” was what she said when she saw all the sweets on the table.
Oh, how time flies! Our baby is now a little girl. She’s growing up so fast and I can’t help but miss the days when she was still so little. We love you, Patty! 🙂
We all had fun putting together this strawberry dessert table and it was definitely a happy, happy birthday for Patty. If you are planning to throw a strawberry themed party and loved the party printables I made for this celebration, please feel free to download the printables HERE.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the photos. Have a great day ahead, everyone!
(All photos were taken by me. Special thanks to my cousin Darwin for lending us his trusty camera.)
